A man has been charged with murder after another man’s body was discovered inside an Adelaide home.
The body of the 52-year-old was found in a Goodwood home on Thursday evening and police say investigations have led them to charge a 31-year-old man with murder.
The man, of no fixed address, was known to the victim and is expected to face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
A neighbour has reported hearing an “explosive” argument in the unit a couple of nights ago.
“I’m home alone this week as my partner is away and I’ve heard some pretty disturbing arguments — a rumble, disturbance — a couple of nights ago,” Katriona Gilroy said.
“I was really tempted to call the police on the night and I don’t know why I didn’t because it was incredibly explosive.
“I haven’t heard anything like that before. In my head, I thought someone may have been injured because… there was just so much rage.
“I just feel awful especially because I just feel like I heard a disturbance and I think, should I have called the police?”
