UPDATE, 11:32am — Player at the centre of Port Adelaide investigation named.
“AFL.com.au understands the player is utility Jackson Trengove,” the league published on its website on Monday morning.
“It is understood no other Power players were involved in the incident, which reportedly occurred at Moseley Square in Glenelg.”
Port Adelaide has released a statement following reports a player was involved in an incident over the weekend.
“Port Adelaide is aware of reports alleging one of its players was involved in an incident outside an Adelaide bar on Saturday night,” the statement said.
“The club is investigating the matter and will not be making further comment until it has all the information at hand.”
Port says it will make no further comment until it has more info.
