Dwayne Russell says Port Adelaide star Ollie Wines will be able to resist offers from other clubs — up to a point.
“I think you stay at Port, if you can see a premiership opportunity and not take the $800k (potential offer),” Dwayne said on Sportsday VIC.
“But if you get offered a million, then it’s a different story.
“Port Adelaide’s performance this year might be a big determinant for Ollie Wines, as to whether he wants to stay or not.
“Because you can take more money and go to a club that doesn’t have a chance to play in a flag, but in the end, I think everyone wants a flag.”
On Tuesday Kane Cornes said he believed “something has changed in the last three or four days” regarding Ollie’s future plans.
