Ex-Crow Graham Johncock’s brother Barry Johncock Jnr has been banned from playing footy for life.
Barry was disqualified after receiving a three-match suspension for a high tackle during an A-grade game last weekend.
According to The Advertiser, he was previously deregistered in 2013 after being suspended for 18 matches over his career — 16 is enough to be automatically banned under AFL guidelines — but was later given one last chance.
Mallee Park Football Club president Warren Clements told the paper the club would to appeal to the SANFL.
“He was distraught,” Mr Clements said. “We felt that it was an unfair hearing.”
Graham Johncock played 227 games for the Crows.
