Adelaide will receive two first-round draft picks in exchange for defender Jake Lever after a trade deal was struck with Melbourne on Thursday morning at Etihad Stadium, the Crows have announced.
Adelaide gets pick No.10, a future first-round selection and a future fourth-round selection from the Demons and send Lever, pick No.35 and a future third-round selection to Melbourne.
“As soon as Jake requested a trade we were always looking to achieve the best possible deal and by bringing in two first-round picks we’ve got our desired result,” Crows list manager Justin Reid said.
“First-round selections are highly sought after so to receive two as part of this trade is a great outcome for us.
“We wish Jake all the best for the rest of his career and thank him for his contribution over the past three years.”
