A man has died and another man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing at Tungkillo on Wednesday night.
Authorities were called to a serious assault on Adelaide Road just before 10.30pm.
When patrols arrived they found a man with a stab wound lying unconscious in the driveway. Attempts were made to resuscitate the 51-year-old Tungkillo man but sadly he died at the scene.
A 52-year-old man from Tungkillo has been arrested and charged with murder. He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court today.
Police say the incident is not random and both parties were known to each other.
