Woman in trouble for saving dog

1 min read

This woman saved a dog who fell onto the train tracks in Peru. Now she’s facing jail time.

Her brave rescue was caught on camera and went viral. (Watch below)

But it turns out that this rescue is resulting in the woman potentially facing jail time, as Metro De Lima considers pressing charges.

It is against the law to climb onto the tracks – for any reason – in Peru.

The story went viral as people took to social media to defend the woman’s heroic behaviour, especially as nobody was hurt, and she was saving the dog’s life.

What do you think?
