Terrible gaffe on US game show

Social media lit up across the US when The Price Is Right game show gave a wheelchair-bound contestant a treadmill as a prize.

Danielle Perez appeared grateful for her prize, but later admitted she thought the whole thing was a joke.

“I kept thinking that it was a really big joke,” she told CNN. ““But there was no irony in their cheers or applause… everyone at CBS seemed genuinely excited for me that I won.”

Danielle summed the whole situation up perfectly with her own tweet:
