Kenya vice-captain Collins Injera’s celebration has overshadowed the actual milestone of scoring his 200th international try.
After Collins scored the momentous try in a London rugby sevens game, he pulled a pen out of his sock and signed a nearby TV camera.
Only problem: he used a permanent marker.
Reports put Collins’ bill for replacing the camera’s lens at 60,000 pounds, or $117,000.
The practice is common in tennis, but winning players sign a protective covering instead of the lens and do not use permanent markers. WATCH here:
