Poignant remake of iconic Coke ad

1 min read

It’s one of the best-known ads in TV history – Coca-Cola’s “hilltop” ad where people from all over the world sang about their wish to “buy the world a Coke”.

44 years later the ad has been remade to highlight the health risks of sugary drinks – and the damage they have caused to the people who probably watched the original ad.

The remake stars real people suffering from diabetes, tooth decay, weight gain, and other diseases that have been associated with sugary drinks.

WATCH it here:

Compare that with the original 1971 ad, WATCH HERE:

Times have changed, huh?
