Jimmy Kimmel in tears over Cecil the Lion

1 min read

Jimmy Kimmel is renowned for his wit and hilarious banter on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but not this time.

Jimmy was discussing the iconic Cecil the Lion who was lured out of Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe by an American dentist, Walter James Palmer, who then proceeded to shoot and kill the 13-year-old lion with a bow and arrow.

It was too much for the comedian.

“The big question is, why are you shooting a lion in the first place?”

“I mean, I am honestly curious to know why a human being would feel compelled to do that – how is that fun?”

“Is it THAT difficult for you to get an erection that you need to kill things?” he continued.

He ended the segment in tears.
