It’s his trademark, but Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed he has only continued to use his heavy Austrian accent for his fans who want to hear it!
After working in showbiz for 35 years, we’ve come to expect his now famous accent, but Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed he can actually speak English well and without so much of an accent!
The actor told the Daily Mail, “It’s now become such a big part of me, the accent, that people really enjoy it,” he also added, “The very things that they said would make it impossible for me to be successful in acting were the things that became my assets.”
When Arnie first started out as an actor his accent was so thick that he had to be dubbed after filming his debut in Hercules, and in his second film he played a deaf mute – now his accent is the most imitated in the industry!
