Schools face a digital divide

Are we separating our school kids into technology ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’?

“Schooling is changing so much that technology is becoming a must have,” Education Consultant Richard Olsen told FIVEAA breakfast.

But the advances are causing problems for families who can’t afford the costs.

“They’re real issues that we need to look at and say, ‘Well how can we make this work for all members of society, not just the ones that are better off financially’.”
