A few inapprorpiately personal questions were fired at Robert Downey Jr during a promotional interview, and he was clearly insulted.
Robert Downey Jr had an interview with Channel 4 News journo Krishnan Guru-Murthy this week to promote the new Avengers film.
But the interview got weird when Guru-Murthy started asking him questions related to his past.
For example, comments Downey Jr made in 2008 about going to prison…
Downey Jr obliged by answering the question, but then the next question got even more awkward.
“Obviously you are doing a promotional tour round of interviews and that’s why we’re talking about the movie, but we would also like to talk a little about you and I don’t know how comfortable you are talking about yourself at the moment…”
Robert answered with, “You have as much time as anyone else will…”
Then he looked to someone off camera, which is usually a sign that the celebrity in question is keen to wrap the interview up.
“Your foot is starting to jump a little bit – you better get to your next question,” Downey Jr said.
“You’ve talked in other interviews again about your relationship with your father and the role of all that… the dark periods you entered and taking drugs and drinking and all of that… and I just wondered whether you were free of all of that…?”
And that’s the moment Downey Jr walked out.
