AFL great Matthew Lloyd has had a crack at GWS midfield Toby Greene for spitting in the direction of Richmond’s Anthony Miles.
Speaking on 3AW, Lloyd described the act as “vile” and worse than punching someone.
“I didn’t like it,” Lloyd said.
“Some will say it missed him, or whatever, but I think it’s nearly one of the worst acts you can actually do on a footy field.
“It’s worse than punching someone, to be honest. It’s just vile.”
“I don’t know if he’ll be suspended, but at worst he deserves a heavy fine for it, I believe,” Lloyd said.
