Tommy Hanley, 16-year-old brother of Pearce and Cian, has died in a Dublin hospital after a cancer battle.
Pearce and Cian’s respective clubs — Gold Coast and Brisbane — both paid tribute to Tommy on Thursday.
The Brisbane Lions extend our sincerest condolences to the Hanley family.

Afl.com.au reports that both clubs will wear black armbands this weekend.
And the Hanley’s local club Ballaghaderreen GAA has posted its condolences:
“Deepest sympathy to Tommy’s Family. A wonderful young man who will be missed by all,” the club tweeted.
Pearce played 129 games for the Lions before moving to the Suns, where he played his first game last Saturday.
Injury plagued Cian has been at the Lions for two years and is yet to play a senior game.
Both brothers returned to Ireland earlier this week.
