Las Vegas rock band The Killers will reportedly headline the musical entertainment at this year’s AFL GF.
The AFL has not confirmed the news, but foxsports.com.au reports industry sources have confirmed that the band is locked in.
“The band will release its first album since 2012 just 10 days before the AFL’s showcase event on September 30 and have been on the league’s wishlist for some time, with rumours first circulating last month that they could be headed down under,” Fox reports.
The website also reports that rock and roll hall of famers Pearl Jam are a chance to play at the NRL grand final.
