1 min read

Paperwork for a deal that will see Sydney Swan Aliir Aliir join Port Adelaide will be lodged on Wednesday afternoon, according to a report.

UPDATE, 12:27pm: PAFC have officially confirmed the Aliir trade:

EARLIER…

AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary tweeted on Wednesday:

Aliir Aliir to be traded from Sydney to Port Adelaide today in exchange for a future second-round pick. Paperwork to be lodged this afternoon. Four-year deal at the Power.

Along with Aliir Port Adelaide has also had its sights on wantaway Bomber Orazio Fantasia.

PAFC footy manager Chris Davies told FIVEAA’s Rowey & Bicks on Tuesday:

“We’d be happy if either of them fall, we’d be even happier if both of them do.

“It’s possible to get both, it’s just what you’re willing to give up.”

Meanwhile according to News Ltd, the Adelaide Crows have tabled a “take-it-or-leave-it” offer of pick 40 to GWS Giant Jackson Hately.

“Hately is out of contract and the Crows can secure him with the top pick in the pre-season draft if the Giants do not accept,” reports Matt Turner.
