The upcoming Australia v India test match at Adelaide Oval will be the first time ever there has been no members dress code at Adelaide Oval, reports FIVEAA Breakfast’s David Penberthy.
Penbo said during Friday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:
“How’s this. SACA members received an email last night saying this: ‘To reduce queuing at crossover points, from a health and safety perspective, and as members will now be seated across the entire oval we are unable to provide the dedicated members area or enforce the SACA members area dress code for the test match this season.
“The dress code will still apply for match day dining in the Ian McLachlan room,” said Penbo, “but anywhere else in the ground if you’re a member we’re thinking double pluggers, Bintang singlets, Warwick Capper footy shorts, boardies – anything goes, folks, for the first time: no dress code in the members. What about that.”
