Newly appointed AFC senior coach Matthew Nicks has posted a video on the club’s social media saying there is “an exciting feeling around the club” and telling fans to “make sure you’re on board for 2020”.
Nicks sad in the video posted on Twitter:
“Hi guys, Matthew Nicks here. Just checking in. I’ve just walked into the club. We’ve got the presser this afternoon but I thought I’d check I touch base before we go into that…
“I’ve had a chat to a number of the players, some of the staff in our admin, and there’s a really exciting feel around the club. We’re looking forward at 2020.
“I know everyone’s excited about bringing the group back together, finding the form we’ve had in the past. I spoke to a couple of the guys who are overseas. They’re training hard whilst they’re having a rest at the same time.
“Make sure you’re on board for 2020 and I look forward to chatting to you soon.”
