Fanning was chased from the water by another shark.
His return to the water was filmed by a 60 Minutes crew at Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast on Saturday, but a promo for the program shows Fanning jumping to a jet ski after spotting a fin.

Back on the beach an understandably rattled Fanning tells reporter Peter Stefanovic he has just seen a shark.
“There he is, straight out — I just saw it,’’ Fanning says.
