Carlton FC has released a statement after the Adelaide Crows confirmed they had been approached by current Blue Bryce Gibbs about a possible move.
“Whilst the Club acknowledges the personal reasons behind Bryce’s request, he is a contracted player and we intend to work through those matters with both him and his management,” Head of Football Andrew McKay said.
The Club will make no further comment at this stage, according to carltonfc.com.au.

Adelaide Crows list manager Justin Reid confirms Carlton star and SA lad Bryce Gibbs wants to come home…
“Bryce and his management have spoken to the Adelaide football club,” Reid said on Monday. “He’s got a strong desire to come home.”
“But we also respect he’s a Carlton football player, he’s contracted, so well leave it at that for the meantime.
“We’ll have discussions behind the scenes and work through it.
“It’s early days…. Probably don’t want to get too much into it right now.”
Rumours have been swirling about Gibbs and the Crows since last month.
