West Coast Eagles star Nic Naitanui has weighed into the Australia Day debate, saying he wants Western Australia to break away from the rest of the country and mark the day on a different date.
Nic Nat posted on Twitter on Thursday (sic):
“I’d love the WA population to lead the way in this space and find an appropriate date. We celebrate other holidays on the calendar differently to the east coast so why not this one? To be honest it’s tiring seeing the protesting, these debates and the hate in peoples hearts in this period every year.”
