Analysts are predicting the Adelaide Crows will pick up at least as many players in this year’s draft as any other club, potentially equalling their 2007 haul when they drafted six players, including Patrick Dangerfield.
According to afl.com.au:
ADELAIDE looks set for the biggest investment in next month’s NAB AFL Draft of any club, with the Crows considering using six picks.
After their busy Telstra AFL Trade Period, the Crows will also be active on draft night, starting with their prized No.4 pick – the first top-five selection in club history.
If the Crows use six picks it will be their biggest intake since 2007 when Patrick Dangerfield (pick No.10 overall) headed their group of six draftees.
