The Adelaide Crows have confirmed that head of football David Noble has left the club to join the Brisbane Lions.
Caro Wilson tipped the move on FIVEAA in August.
The Crows released a statement thanking Noble for his service over the past 12 years.
“David has made a valuable contribution and played his part in steering the Club through some of its most trying times,” Crows CEO Andrew Fagan said.
“He is a quality person and we wish him and his family the very best as they take on a fresh challenge.”
He said Noble’s departure was an opportunity.
“We have made significant progress in this area and over the last few years focused on developing structures and systems which are not reliant on any particular individual,” he said.
“As a result, when individuals move on we instead see this an opportunity to further develop and improve our operations as we push towards achieving our goal of having the leading football program in the AFL.”
Noble will be the new head of football at Brisbane.
