Adelaide Crows forward Riley Knight will miss the AFL pre-season competition and is in doubt for round 1 of the premiership season after suffering an Achilles injury.
According to AFC’s Steve Saunders:
“After completing most of the pre-season, Riley will not complete competitive loads for 3-4 weeks.”
Meanwhile injured defender Tom Doedee is getting closer to making his return after almost a year on the sidelines after rupturing his ACL.
“Tom has been accumulating the work loads required to return to AFL football,” Saunders said.
“It was always the plan for him to return for the Under-23 trial game and he is on track for that.”
