South Aussie lad and rising Gold Coast star Izak Rankine is “absolutely gettable” for the Adelaide Crows, says FIVEAA’s Stephen Rowe.
Summing up the weekend’s AFL action – which included Rankine kicking three goals on debut (SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO) – Rowey told FIVEAA Breakfast’s David & Will on Monday:
“I tell you what Eddie Betts is still a star and a kid by the name of Izak Rankine will be the next one and the Crows have got to get him back, fair dinkum. What a debut.
“There’s a positive for Crows fans. He’s gettable, don’t worry about that. Absolutely he is gettable. I know he’s signed a new deal for two years – I’m telling you as a fact he is gettable because the money the Crows may be able to get him.”
WILL: “Everyone saw him doing it as an under 18. He’s a freak. He had a highlight reel out of one game that a lot of guys would be happy with for their career.”
