Collingwood premiership player Mick McGuane has the Adelaide Crows finishing top of the ladder after the 2018 AFL season.
“I think Adelaide are more than capable of getting to 16 or 17 wins this year based on their draw,” Mick said on SEN.
“In rounds 6, 7, 8 and 9 they play four at home — that could be the block that gets their season going… they’ve got four winnable games form the outset as well.
“They play Richmond, Port and the Giants two times… and they play Carlton and Melbourne (twice). I think they can potentially beat all of those teams at least once.
“They’re the team to be on the top of the ladder at the completion of 2018. They’re the best scoring team in the competition.”
Mick’s full top eight:
- Adelaide
- Sydney
- Geelong
- Richmond
- Port Adelaide
- Greater Western Sydney
- Melbourne
- Essendon
