Port Adelaide’s Travis Boak says he’ll make a call on his role as captain of the club at the end of the year.
“We’ll sort of assess at the end of the year and go from there,” Boak has told afl.com.au. “But right now, all of my focus is on is making sure I lead this group.”
“Ollie’s been outstanding all year as vice-captain, along with the rest of our leaders.
“I’ve enjoyed the challenge I’ve had this year and I’m still hoping to have a few more weeks to go this year as captain.”
On Wednesday, club great Warren Tredrea said it was still too soon for Ollie Wines to be given the captaincy and suggested Tom Jonas would be the best bet if Boak steps down.
