SANFL chief Jake Parkinson says he is “100 per cent confident” there will be no AFL reserves competition in 2019, as previously suggested in reports from Victoria.
Parkinson has told The Advertiser he received a written rejection of the reports from the AFL.
“I’m 100 per cent confident it won’t be happening next season,” Parkinson said. “It was reported in Victoria it would be happening, but we have categoric communication from the AFL that is not the case.”
