Suspended former Aussie captain Steve Smith has reportedly been named as a ‘marquee player’ in Canada’s T20 league.
According to Fairfax, Cricket Australia is “fully supportive” of Smith playing T20 during his suspension.
The Canadian league starts on 28 June and will feature other international stars including Chris Gayle, Andre Russell and Shahid Afridi.
