Some Mail On The Chad Wingard Deal Just Landed On The FIVEAA Sports Show

Pick 15 from Hawthorn may no longer be on the table for Port Adelaide as part of a possible deal for Chad Wingard, according to a FIVEAA sports show source.

Co-host David Wildy reported on Friday afternoon:

“I’ve just got a message from a pretty good source. You were saying perhaps Port weren’t happy with pick 15 and Ryan Burton — ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if Hawthorn only offer player for player and no pick 15.’

“A very, very good source. Let’s watch that unfold.

“I know Ryan Burton was absolutely shattered that his name was mentioned in a trade. He’s just bought a house over there in Melbourne. He loves Melbourne — he’s actually going out with Bruce Abernathy’s daughter Bree. Got a beautiful house there, he loves the club, loves Alastair Clarkson, loves his teammates.

“That’s hot of the press. It might not be a pick 15 with it — it might be player for player.”
