Management for Port Adelaide’s Chad Wingard has put a value on the star’s head, according to a report.
Writing in The Australian, Greg Denham says:
“Wingard is no certainty to be at the Power next year as several Melbourne clubs are interested in him a year shy of achieving free agency eligibility.
“The Australian understands that his management has placed a value of $5m over five years on his head after 2019.”
Over the weekend club chairman David Koch said “no one is off the trade table” at Port Adelaide, while last week Port’s Chris Davies said the club was “planning for Chad to be here” in 2019, while Chad himself made light of trade speculation with a classic social media post.
Tough start to off season! Compound fracture both legs, other clubs requesting medical history anything to not get traded! #pear pic.twitter.com/55VfXr7FUz
