Re-signed Crow Mitch McGovern said he turned down plenty of offers to stay at Adelaide.
News broke on Tuesday that Mitch had extended with the Crows for three years.
“Considering other options was pretty difficult,” Mitch told the club in a video posted on its website… “obviously to go home. There were quite a few options available.”
“I think this is the best for my career going forward. The culture is fantastic here… finals coming up and just the team first and the way the playing group approaches every situation.
“This year with me, my contract negotiations have been fantastic. They’re one of the best run clubs I can see and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
