Eddie Betts will not play in Adelaide’s Rd 19 match on Sunday after being admitted to hospital on Sunday night to have his appendix removed.
“Eddie fell unwell on Sunday evening and was sent to hospital,” Crows Dr Cesana said on Monday.
“He will not play this weekend as he recovers from surgery and the club will continue to monitor his health before a decision is made on his availability.”
In a post on afc.com.au the club said Eddie is “recovering well”.
