Aussie Rules great and FIVEAA’s own Malcolm Blight has been appointed to a new AFL committee to improve the look of the game — and he wants to hear your suggestions.
“Steven Hocking, the boss of football and the AFL rang me up today,” Blighty revealed on Wednesday. “I used to coach him a long time ago.”
“He’s looking for a group of people with ideas to improve the look of the game, people like Leigh Matthews. He’s going to get a group of about eight together, aside from the committee looking at the competition.
“I have some ideas, we’ve mentioned them here a couple of times… but also the people out there listening may come up with some ideas that I will take, I will put your name to them.
“If you come up with a really good idea, I will honestly say at this meeting this came from this person in Adelaide mentioned this.”
