Port Adelaide defender Jack Hombsch will be replaced by Tom Jonas for the club’s Friday night clash with Melbourne at Adelaide Oval.
Speaking on Thursday, Hinkley hinted former Demon recruits Jack Trengove and Jack Watts won’t make the team to take on their old club.
“Trengove has been in great form, he’s just waiting for an opportunity,” Hinkley said. “Watts — like Rocky [Tom Rockliff] did earlier in the year — needs a bit of time. He had an elite game in the SANFL last week.
“It’ll be a fierce competition with Melbourne, no doubt. Their strong, contested ball is up there and they’re dangerous up forward.”
KH: Sam is okay – he was feeling a little unwell, so we weren't taking any chances. Be he should be fine for tomorrow #pafclive
