Kane Cornes says a string of off-season signings at the Adelaide Crows was a “master stroke” — and he reckons the club isn’t done yet.
Kane writes in The Advertiser:
“The Crows securing the key signatures of reigning best and fairest winner Matt Crouch, free agent Brodie Smith, talented midfielder Jordan Galluci and arguably their most improved player Rory Atkins before a ball was bounced was a master stroke.
“It remains to be seen if Rory Sloane and Rory Laird will remain put, I’m tipping both to stay.”
He’s also backing Port Adelaide star Ollie Wines to re-sign with the club and have a massive year on the field.
“Despite remaining non-committal on his future beyond this year Port Adelaide’s next captain is going nowhere,” Kane says.
“Look for him to claim his first John Cahill Medal as Port’s best and fairest in 2018.”
