Port Adelaide’s Jared Polec will be on the sidelines for up to five weeks with an injured hamstring.
Polec suffered a muscle tear at training during a contact drill, the club has revealed.
Meanwhile Robbie Gray and Steven Motlop will be available for selection for Port’s first JLT pre-season game, while Chad Wingard (hamstring), Lindsay Thomas (hamstring soreness) and Todd Marshall (calf) will all face fitness tests.
