Former Adelaide Crow Jake Lever says he’s “disappointed” his old sparring partner Talyor Walker will be missing for the new Demon’s first game against his old club.
Walker was famously scathing of Lever’s decision to leave Adelaide at the end of last year.
“I spoke to him, actually when I got engaged he congratulated me on my engagement, which was great,” Lever has told 7 News.
“But since then I haven’t spoken to him. He’s obviously not going to play this week.
“I’m a little bit disappointed because he’s such a great player and for me to be able to play on him… I did so much training against him, it would’ve been great.”
