Jake Lever Is Seriously Talking Up His Decision To Leave Adelaide

2 min read

A few months in at his new club Melbourne, former Adelaide Crow Jake Lever is not looking back.

“I can’t explain how much of a great decision it has been,” Lever has told the Herald Sun. “Not only for my football, but just the off-field side of things.”

“I guess when you make the decision the family always come into play, but it’s your mates and partner’s mates as well, as they don’t get to come over to Adelaide and see you like your family does.

“For me, to be back around best mates and my group of mates, it’s so good just to be able to go out and get a feed together.”

He also said he’s looking forward to getting back to Adelaide…

“That will be the fun part,” he said.

“I’m the type of person that I can’t wait for it. I have already pencilled it in, Round 19 over at Adelaide Oval.

“The crowd will be a factor as well and, look, I’m sure I’m going to get lots of boos.

“It’s just part and parcel of the industry and I love a challenge and I’m looking forward to playing on some of the guys I was close mates with.”
