Hugh Greenwood Has Set Himself A Pretty Big Goal For 2018

1 min read

Adelaide Crow Hugh Greenwood says the club is aiming for premiership success in the 2018 AFL premiership season — and he wants to be the number one tackler in the league.

“No secret with us falling short last year in the granny, that is where we want to get to as a team, definitely,” Hugh said in a video post for 20FOUR.

“Individually it’s a tough one. I’ve always enjoyed setting goals but for me last year ticking off so many, I just wanted to play a game of AFL footy, but to tick off one and then end up playing 15 exceeded all expectations.

“I’d like to play every game this year…

“And a big goal — I want to try and lead the AFL in tackles per game. That’s my strength and that’s what I want to try and do next year to help the team go where we want to go.”

According to afl.com.au/stats, Scott Selwood led the league in average tackles per game (10.7) while Greenwood was #13 with 6.6.
