The Adelaide Crows have four players to re-sign, but only have space to keep two of them, says FIVEAA’s Stephen Rowe.
“The one with the most concern today is stand in skipper, the connector Tom Lynch,” Rowey said on Wednesday. “A critical member of the Crow system.”
“Lose him, you’ll lose members because he actually wants to stay.
“We spoke to him after the game on Friday about his contract, where it’s at and he used the word ‘tricky’… it’s tricky because everything is hanging on Rory Sloane. So [Lynch], Seedsman, D-Mac [David Mackay], Rory — it’s tricky. Do they have the money, can they fit them all in?
“They prioritise the signings and they’ve obviously prioritised Rory Sloane. They need to get him done and then they know what’s left to get the others done.”
“I’m telling you, of Rory Sloane, Seedsman, D-Mac and Tom Lynch, two of them will be gone, and are you happy with that, Crows members?
“Every club faces it, they’ll tell you that, but I’m just wondering whether or not they’ve done the right thing.”
“It gets back to list management. Questions need to be asked.”
