Former Port Adelaide premiership player Jarrad Schofield has reportedly rejected an offer to join the Adelaide Crows as an assistant coach and will instead return to his old club.
According to Channel 9’s Will Crouch:
“[Schofield] is currently in his sixth season as head coach of WAFL powerhouse Subiaco. He’s taken the team to four consecutive grand finals, winning two premierships along the way — it’s an exceptional coaching record.
“An announcement isn’t expected until after Subiaco’s WAFL season finishes, but Nine news understands Schofield has already rejected the Crows in favour of returning to the club where he first tasted premiership success.
“It’s just a case of getting the deal once the WAFL season finishes up.”
