Former Adelaide Crows development coach Ryan O’Keefe says some of the wild reports about the club’s contentious pre-season training camp are “quite hilarious and should be on the comedy channel”.
“From my point of view I didn’t see anything wrong with it,” O’Keefe told Channel 10.
“A camp’s a camp. You’ve seen other clubs where players have stopped the camp before it’s even happened.
“I don’t know, do things that put people out of their comfort zone… they don’t like it or has Little Johnny left the nest and has to fend for himself?
“There can be a whole range of reasons but I don’t think it is an issue at all.
“Why it has been made such an issue has actually shocked me to be honest.’’
