Eddie Betts has publicly shut down a social media user for making a racist comment.
Betts published consecutive posts on Instagram, one showing him posing with a Fremantle fan after Adelaide’s loss on Sunday… “I have time for everyone,” Eddie wrote on the photo.
On the next image Eddie wrote: “I have no time for this” alongside a comment where someone had referred to him as “a monkey”.
David Penberthy and Will Goodings threw their support behind Betts who regularly appears on FIVEAA breakfast in a weekly segment.
“We just wanted to record our utter disgust this morning at the fact that he has been targeted by a half wit, a moron, a pig of a person on Instagram,” Penbo said on Tuesday.
“The bloke is an absolute gem. He handles himself with such grace and dignity.”
