Carlton FC has published footage from inside its inner sanctum of the moment it decided to do a pick trade with the Adelaide Crows.

It was a bombshell move on trade night when Adelaide traded its pick 19 and first round pick next year for Carlton’s first round pick next year.

The gripping video shows Carlton list manager Stephen Silvagni going back and forth on the phone with his Adelaide counterpart Justin Reid.
