Malcolm Blight reveals he pushed the envelope a little far on one occasion as Adelaide Crows coach.
“We were playing a game in Perth,” Blighty said on FIVEAA. “So I actually put an ear piece in the runner — I did, this is true.”
“He stayed out on the ground virtually the whole game and I was talking to him throughout the game, with an earpiece coming from me.
“On the way back in the plane the umpires came up to me and said we’re going to have to report you. We got a letter: don’t do that again. That’s very naughty.
“We avoided it then because they started talking about half a million dollar fines and losing points and everything. We said, we better not do that again.”
