Port Adelaide midfielder Karl Amon is reportedly on the lookout for opportunities at other clubs in a bid to get more game time.
Writing for afl.com.au Lee Gaskin reports:
“Port Adelaide will consider releasing contracted outside runner Karl Amon from the final year of his contract as he searches for more opportunities to play senior football.
“AFL.com.au understands the 23-year-old is open to a fresh start after playing six games for the Power this year, and 42 in his five seasons with the club.
“One possible sticking point in the Power agreeing to a trade — and improving their hand in a draft laden with South Australian talent — is ensuring they have the right balance of outside players on their list.”
The news about Amon comes as Port Adelaide prepares to lose Jared Polec to North Melbourne.
