The Western Bulldogs are “going hard” after Port Adelaide star Chad Wingard, according to a report.
7 News Melbourne reporter Mark Stevens says he has heard from “multiple sources” the club is keen on Wingard following reports Port will entertain offers for the talented forward.
On Thursday Stevens tweeted:
“Despite some denials, multiple sources in past 2-3 weeks adamant Western Bulldogs have been going hard for Chad Wingard … the finisher club needs and very close friend of Jackson Trengove.”

Fans have been quick to dig up the 2017 message Wingard sent former teammate Trengove in which Wingard said “who knows one day we might kick the leather again soon”.
